Sarah

How much do you weigh? I'm 480 pounds now and I dropped 20 pounds by cutting back on my fast foods, and writing down what I was consuming. We(my family) were eating out 4 days a week and after you scolded us, we are only eating out once a week. It is also saving our family a lot of money.
What are your short term goals? I would like to lose 40 to 60 pounds in the next three months and finish with physical therapy. Another goal will be to get back to the fitness level, I achieved 2 years ago.
How will you reach that goal? The doctor recommended a registered dietician and I will be contacting her soon. I will reduce my portion sizes, cut back on fast foods, drink more water, have one cheat day a week and watch Dr. Oz for heath and fitness advice.
What will be your exercise plan once physical therapy is finished? My plan will be to exercise doing YouTube videos. They offer a lot of chair and senior videos, and that is my level at this time. I will also get personal training with you one day a week. Once my fitness level has increased, I will return to your boot-camp class.
What contributed to your excessive body weight? I do a lot of stress eating and I also have childhood related issues. Another problem I have, and cannot change, I'm predisposed to being obese. The women on my dad and my mom's side of the family are overweight or obese.
Why lose weight now? I'm not getting any younger so its time. Being healthy is important and I want to be here to see my two boys grow up.

Best Wishes, Sarah - may God Bless you in this new endeavor! : )
